When dimming a low-voltage system, it is recommended that
the dimming occur on the primary side of the transformer,
reducing the power coming into the transformer. The dimmer
must be matched to the type of transformer that’s powering
the system.
For Electronic transformers, use an eletronic low voltage
(ELV) Dimmer.
