FEEDING POWER THROUGH A WALL OR CEILING
Use the power feed turnbuckles to pipe power from a single feed remote transformer (p. 53) through an
accessible wall or ceiling and terminate the run. Power feed standoffs bring power to the cables within the run.
Back of wall or ceiling must be accessible.
MOUNTING TO BRICK, CEMENT, OR PLASTER
Turnbuckles and anchors come standard with mounting hardware for drywall. To mount to other surfaces, order
this special hardware. Sold in pairs.
CRISS-CROSSING CABLE RUNS
The engineering and design behind Kable Lite is inherently flexible. With thousands of possible configurations and
plenty of customization options, you can easily create your own unique installation. Mount from the ceiling or wall and
choose to power the line from either spot. Set up intersecting runs for even more creative illumination possibilities.
SPECIAL INSTALLATIONS
POWER FEED TURNBUCKLES
Pair of insulated slimline turnbuckles with
power feed capability. Minimum cable
separation: 2"; maximum cable run: twenty
feet, unless reinforced. Satin Nickel.
POWER JUMPERS
Pair of power jumpers transfers power
from one cable run to another. Includes
24" of insulating tubing to cover where
cables cross. Satin Nickel.
INSULATING TUBING
Clear plastic tubing insulates bare
cable from another cable or metal.
Sold by the foot.
BRICK OR CEMENT ANCHORS
PLASTER ANCHORS
POWER FEED STANDOFFS
Pair of rigid standoffs with power feed
capability. Minimum cable separation: 3.5".
700KPFSO02S (2.5" DROP)
700KPFSO12S (12" DROP)
700PRTD15
700PRTD14
SINGLE FEED
HEAVY DUTY STANDOFFS
These longer standoffs have 4" diameter bases for
stability and require a minimum 5.5" cable separation.
Pair included. Not field-cuttable. May require longer
hardwire feeds (P. 54).
700KSOHD24S (24" LENGTH)
INLINE TURNBUCKLES
Conductive (T2) turnbuckles continue power;
insulated (T3) turnbuckles isolate power feeds from
each other. Pair included.
700PARTT2S (CONDUCTIVE)
700PARTT3S (INSULATED)
CENTER POWER FEED
The center power feed can be used
anywhere within the run and includes
12' field-cuttable softwire leads. Specify
single or dual-feed. Specify dual-feed
when using a dual-feed transformer.
700KPCENS (SINGLE FEED)
700KPCEN4S (DUAL FEED)
SUPPORTING CABLE ON RUNS WITH LONGER DROPS
Use these heavy duty standoffs to support Kable Lite systems
that drop 18" or 24" from the ceiling.
MAINTAINING TENSION IN TURN-HEAVY RUNS
Kable Lite systems with several turns will require inline turnbuckles to provide tension within the run.
USING A CENTER POWER FEED
A center power feed is generally used to bring power to a Kable Lite system when the transformer
or junction box cannot be located directly above the run. The power feed can be mounted to a
standard 4" junction box with round plaster ring (provided by electrician), directly to a Remote
Transformer, or Kable Lite Surface Transformer when the available junction box is not located
directly above the run.
