In Japanese thought, a word exists – yūgen – that expresses a deep, mysterious sense of the
beauty of the universe. Yūgen consists of finding our place in the world and feeling completely
part of the space in which we live, identifying with it. It is container and content at the same time
and its magic implies that space is never fixed but always open to what it could become. Yūgen
reminds us that we can live in harmony with the beauty that surrounds us, the space of our
home. A home that for Visionnaire continues to take on the meaning of a place of happiness, a
theater of everyday beauty, a sanctuary for our personal rituals.
Volare is the name of the new residential concept of Visionnaire, created to narrate a true
philosophy of living and a sartorial approach to the production of unique objects. Thanks
to collaboration with the designers Alessandro La Spada, Steve Leung, Mauro Lipparini,
Draga&Aurel, Studiopepe, m2atelier, Gupica and the artists Michele Astolfi, Domenico Grenci
and CaCO3, Volare is not just the development of a new collection of products, but also a
design manifesto of the contemporary home, based on centrifugal thinking that starts with the
content to formulate the container, moving from the individual to the space. In short, to design
a dream home means knowing the innermost essence of its inhabitants.
Nel pensiero giapponese esiste una parola - yūgen - che esprime un senso profondo e
misterioso della bellezza dell’universo. Lo yūgen consiste nel trovare il proprio posto nel
mondo e sentirsi completamente parte dello spazio in cui si vive, tanto da riconoscersi in esso.
E’ allo stesso tempo contenitore e contenuto e la sua magia fa si che uno spazio non sia mai
fisso, ma sempre aperto per ciò che potrebbe essere. Lo yūgen ci ricorda che possiamo vivere
in armonia con la bellezza di ciò che ci circonda, lo spazio della nostra casa. Una casa che
per Visionnaire continua ad assumere il significato di luogo di felicità, teatro della bellezza
quotidiana e santuario dei nostri intimi rituali.
Volare è il nome della nuova proposta abitativa di Visionnaire, pensata per raccontare una
vera e propria filosofia domestica e un’attitudine sartoriale alla realizzazione di progetti unici.
Grazie alla collaborazione con i designer Alessandro La Spada, Steve Leung, Mauro Lipparini,

e CaCO3, Volare non è semplicemente lo sviluppo di una nuova collezione di prodotti, ma
un manifesto progettuale della casa contemporanea, un pensiero centrifugo che parte dal
contenuto per delineare il contenitore, dall’individuo allo spazio. In sintesi, progettare una
casa dei sogni significa conoscere il cuore di chi la abita.
