NARRAZIONI INTRECCIATE
A project by Draga&Aurel
it Draga&Aurel entrano nella Wunderkammer di Visionnaire,
durante la Design Week 2024, con una narrazione intrecciata,
un gioco di scambi tra arte e design dove colori e gesti pittorici
ispirano l’estetica degli oggetti da collezione. In un’edizione
speciale, la poltrona Aries è rivestita con un tessuto a telaio
che reinterpreta i dipinti di Aurel K. Basedow. Nel divisorio
Muse, la stratificazione tipica dell’artista si trasforma in un
gioco di organze stampate che, in movimento, riproducono il
gesto della pittura. Draga&Aurel rivisitano due pezzi iconici:
la consolle Lego si arricchisce di un piano in marmo e metallo,
mentre il tavolo Elysium Art, evoluzione artistica del modello
Amos, mostra geometrie e texture raffinate. Completa la
capsule il separé Thessa, una cascata di colori che si dissolve tra
geometrie, luci e trasparenze, e l’applique Sputnik, che aggiunge
un tocco scultoreo e luminoso alla composizione.
en During Design Week 2024, Draga&Aurel enter Visionnaire’s
Wunderkammer with a layered narrative—a dynamic dialogue
between art and design, where colors and painterly gestures
inform collectible objects. In a special edition, the Aries armchair
is upholstered in jacquard fabric that reinterprets Aurel K.
Basedow’s paintings. In the Muse screen, the artist’s signature
layering becomes a play of printed organza panels that move like
brushstrokes in the air. Draga&Aurel revisit two iconic pieces:
the Lego console, now featuring a refined marble and metal top,
and the Elysium Art table—an artistic evolution of the Amos
model—marked by elegant geometries and textures. Completing
the capsule, the Thessa screen cascades in color, dissolving into
shapes, light, and transparency, while the Sputnik wall sconce
adds a sculptural and luminous presence to the composition.
