The hotel is set like a jewel in the ultra-modern “Times Square”
high-rise building which fronts the most prestigious street in Ho Chi Minh
City, formerly Saigon, and also houses an extensive range of international
luxury brand boutiques. The luxurious interior design project bearing the
Visionnaire name involves three areas - the VIP Suite, the Suite I and the
Sky Lounge. The VIP Suite extends over about 350sq.m. arranged over
two floors. The spacious double-height conversation area is dominated by
the imposing, sinuous Oberon sofas, a very personal reinterpretation of the
classic Chesterfield. The entire space is a play of traditional and classical,
where the original laser-cut metal gothic leg of the Avalon chaise-longue is
also found on the Camelot table in the dining area. A skillful mix of styles and
materials creates an interior of great visual impact. The walls are embellished
with lacquered neo-classical boiseries personalized with the Visionnaire logo,
and the polished metal spiral staircase connecting with the sleeping area is
the other outstanding feature of this project.The Suite I measures about 120
sq.m. The open plan living-dining area features two exquisite Esmeralda
lamps, scintillating objects with opaque black silk shades contrasting with
the gleam of gold. In the bedroom, the glamorous Artù bed alcove redefines
the space like a stage set. Also the bathrooms are furnished with single or
double Visionnaire vanity units. The Sky Lounge is a large space of about
340 sq.m. on two levels, one overlooking the other. On the lower floor, a
spacious area opposite the bar is furnished with simple mirror-finish stainless
steel tables, surrounded by the softness of button-tufted Zelda chairs, as
comfortable as armchairs, and chandeliers that sparkle like waterfalls of
crystals. The reserved area of this space is on the floor above, where a long
line of Evelake armchairs overlooks the floor below. All around are small
private rooms and one containing the large Scarlet table, embellished with
turned, lacquered legs featuring the Visionnaire logo.
