Visionnaire: In The World 2013, 107 151

The imagination is an essential condition to realize all the projects,
mainly if such spaces are the legendary and evocative rooms and areas
of a castle. The castle of Cianowice is the new and impressive challenge
facing to Visionnaire. This is an elegant and historical mansion dating back
to the XIX century, surrounded by green areas, distant few kilometers from
Cracovia. The exterior of the building is patrimony owned and protected
by the Council of the Fine Arts, so the external part could not have been
modified, while the interior rooms have been completely re-built: at the
beginning the project referred only to an interior design intervention
where Visionnaire was implied only for the interior furnishing. However
Visionnaire has proposed also an intervention for the architectonic interior
design, suggesting some solutions to rationalize spaces and at the same
time matching customer’s likings, who finally decide to commit the whole
project to the brand: floors, boiseries, ceilings and upholstery which
represent the frame that makes such scenery perfect for the disposition
of exclusive home furnishings. The contrast is not an antithesis but is the
perfect matching among an untouchables past and a unique contemporary
flavor of Visionnaire style.
