colori dei cieli e dei mari d’Oriente. Un’opera
disegnata da Ettore Sottsass, monumentale
e architettonica, ma capace di interpretare e
diffondere intorno a sè tutta la magia della
terra a cui è ispirata. Si percepisce, si sente. E
genera immaginazione.”
This sculpture, created in 1994, speaks of
ancient worlds and civilizations, passion and
elegance, flavors and scents of spices, the
colors of the skies and seas of the East. A
work designed by Ettore Sottsass, imposing
and architectural, but able to portray and
diffuse the magic of the land that inspired it.

Paese. Una sfera nera che si specchia nel
Corallo e nella delicatezza del Verdognolo,
volumi che si riflettono l’uno nell’atro, come
memorie, come emozioni che fluiscono. Nato
dalla mente di Ettore Sottsass, plasmato
dall’arte dei maestri vetrai.”
