Kumo racconta una storia di trasparenza e
sospensione, dove il nome stesso diventa manifesto poetico del
progetto. "Kumo" in giapponese significa nuvola, e questo non è un
dettaglio casuale, ma l'essenza stessa del concept. Il letto incarna
perfettamente l'idea di leggerezza, grazie al suo sistema di suppor-
to che lo fa apparire come sospeso nello spazio. Come una nuvola
che galleggia libera nel cielo, Kumo sfida la gravità, alleggerendo
visivamente l'intera struttura.
La testiera, divisa in due parti morbide e so-
stanziose, richiama l'idea di un orizzonte sfumato, dove i confini
si dissolvono come i contorni di una nuvola. Un telaio che non se-
para, ma accoglie; che non definisce un limite, ma suggerisce
un'esperienza di sospensione.

Kumo’s very name sums up its enchanting
sense of hovering and transparency. “Kumo” means “cloud” in
Japanese and it was specifically chosen to convey the essence of
the concept. With a support system that makes it look like it is hov-
ering in the air, the bed perfectly epitomizes the notion of lightness.
Like a cloud floating freely in the sky, Kumo defies gravity and is
filled with an overall feeling of airiness.
Split into two soft, substantial parts, the head-
board calls to mind a hazy horizon, where boundaries blur like the
outline of a cloud. Rather than dividing and setting clear boundar-
ies, the frame brings everything together and conjures up images
of floating.
