The basic material of the laquered Kos collection is mahogany that is grown in sustainably managed Indonesian plantations. The wood is then laquered with 7 layers of high-quality varnish without volatile organic solvents, in a subtle off-white colour. The last layer is applied manually which gives the wood a beautiful light patina effect which enhances its authentic appearance.
