Tiferno era l’antico nome dell’odierna Città di Castello: il nucleo
abitativo di origine Romana, con il passare dei secoli diviene
sempre più una città operosa. Fra le varie attività era fiorente la
lavorazione del legno. Tiferno Mobili ripropone l’antica eredità
produttiva del mobile artigianale, ripensandola e ritrasforman-
dola per adattarla alle esigenze del nostro tempo. Tiferno Mobili
nasce nel 1976 per opera di Giulio Chiarioni e continua l’attività
con la moglie Susetta e i suoi tre figli Gregorio, Filippo e Giulia.
Tiferno is the ancient name of Città di Castello that arose during the
Roman period. The town has always been a very industrious center.

Tiferno Mobili rediscovers this ancient inherited form of producing
furniture, by rethinking and retransforming itself to suit the needs of
our time. The company was founded in 1976 by Giulio Chiarioni and
continues to work with his wife Susetta and his three sons, Gregorio,
Filippo and Giulia.
