Der geborene Bremer Wilhelm
Wagenfeld ist einer der
bekanntesten Bauhäusler. Er
entwarf die berühmte Leuchte
WG24, sowie diverse Designs
für Braun, Rosenthal und
WMF. 1928 entwarf Wagenfeld
für die Fa. S.A. Loevy den Tür-
drücker WD28 und eine
passende Fensterolive, die
jedoch damals nur in geringer
Stückzahl produziert wurden.
Nach einem originalen
Handmuster nahm TECNOLINE
(damals bei TECNOLUMEN)
1982, gemeinsam mit
Prof. Wagenfeld, die Produktion
des Modells wieder auf.
Wilhelm Wagenfeld was born
in Bremen and remains one
of the most famous represen-
tatives of the Bauhaus school.
He designed the well-known
WG24 lamp and was also
responsible for a number of
other original designs for Braun,
Rosenthal and WMF. In 1928,
Wagenfeld designed the WD28
door handle for S.A. Loevy,
together with a matching
window handle, which at the
time was only produced in
small numbers. In 1982,
TECNOLINE (then still part of
TECNOLUMEN) resumed
production of the model,
together with Prof. Wagenfeld,
based on an original prototype
from the designer.
