This variant of the metal table lamp,
created in the same year, has a glass base
and a glass rod in which a nickel-plated
10 mm tube leads the supply line.
An old drawing and an original lamp were
available for construction. This way,
with the new production, the exact dimensions
and proportions could be kept.
“Finally, when everything was ready,
the German furniture stores didn’t
want to sell the lamp – and so we had
to market and distribute it ourselves,
which actually wasn’t part of our
original plan.”
