Gemeinsam mit Hans Przyrembel entwarf Marianne Brandt diverse
Leuchten. Das war ganz im Sinne von Walter Gropius, denn Leuchten
ließen sich wirtschaftlich verwerten, um die schmale Schulkasse zu
füllen. Sie wurden in der Metallwerkstatt hergestellt und in den
Bauhaus-Werkstätten selbst genutzt. Ein besonders schönes Beispiel
dafür ist die heute als HMB 25 bekannte Pendelleuchte.
Marianne Brandt designed various lights together with Hans
Przyrembel. That was entirely in the spirit of Walter Gropius, because
lights could be used economically to fill the narrow school coffers.
They were made in the metal workshop and used in the Bauhaus work-
shops themselves. A particularly beautiful example is the pendant lamp
known today as the HMB 25.
