Marianne Brandt, 1926
Diese Deckenleuchte mit einer Opalglaskugel entwarf Marianne
Brandt in der Dessauer Metallwerkstatt. Damals schon war das
schlichte, zeitlos schöne Bauhaus-Modell derart erfolgreich, dass es
serienmäßig produziert wurde. Schlicht und unaufdringlich, ganz im
Sinne des Bauhaus-Stils.
This ceiling lamp with an opal glass ball was designed by Marianne
Brandt in the Dessau metal workshop. Even then, the simple, timelessly
beautiful Bauhaus model was so successful that it was mass-produ-
ced. Simple and unobtrusive, in keeping with the Bauhaus style.
