Die „Buquet-Tischlampe“ war einer der populärsten Leuchtenentwürfe
des Art déco und der 1920er-Jahre. Neben der Tischleuchte entwickelte
Buquet dem gleichen Prinzip folgend eine Wandleuchte sowie eine
Stehleuchte.
The “Buquet table lamp” was one of the most popular lamp designs of
the Art Deco and the 1920s. In addition to the table lamp, Buquet
developed other versions, following the same principle, designing a wall
lamp and a floor lamp.

Gegenüber der Standardausführung wurde der Fuß optisch dem
Originalentwurf angeglichen. Der Fuß ist zusätzlich seitlich gestempelt:
TECNOLUMEN, BWKS, Halbmond und Krone, 925,
Handarbeit und fortlaufende Nummer. Die Gewichte bestehen aus einer
925er Silberhülle, in die ein Messinggewicht eingelegt ist.
Compared to the standard model, the base has been visually aligned
with to the original design. The base also bears the following stamp:
TECNOLUMEN, BWKS, crescent and crown, 925, handcrafted,
and serial number. A brass weight is inserted in the 925 silver shell.
