Die Pendelleuchte erscheint sehr schmal und verbreitert sich nur am unteren
Ende um etwa das Doppelte. Ungewöhnlich ist, dass auch die Aufhängung
länglich gehalten ist. Dadurch wirkt sie eher wie eine Stehleuchte, die kerzen-
gerade aus der Decke herauskommt. Als Vorbild für den Entwurf dienten
die gefragten Art-déco-Designs.
The pendant lamp appears very narrow and only widens by about twice
as much at the lower end. It is unusual that the suspension is also elongated.
This makes it look more like a floor lamp that comes straight out of the
ceiling. The popular Art Deco designs served as a model for the design.

Der Designer nahm den Begriff Leseleuchte wörtlich und kreierte so das
BookLight. Das Leuchtmittel scheint durch die Seiten und sorgt für ein
angenehmes Licht. Neben der Pendelleuchte gibt es das BookLight auch als
Tischleuchte (siehe Seite 46).
The designer took the term reading light literally and created the
BookLight. The light source shines through the pages and provides a pleas-
ant light. In addition to this pendant lamp, the BookLight is also available as
a table lamp (see page 46).
