Die DS 36 wurde zum Ende der Bauhaus-Epoche, etwa um 1930, in den
Niederlanden erschaffen und kann der De-Stijl-Bewegung zugeordnet werden,
auch wenn ihre Formdarbietung an das offizielle Logo des Bauhauses
erinnert. Diese Leuchte schafft mit ihrem weiß lackierten Reflektor ein ange-
nehm indirektes Licht.
The DS 36 was created at the end of the Bauhaus era, around 1930, in the
Netherlands and can be assigned to the De Stijl movement, even if
its presentation of form is reminiscent of the official Bauhaus logo. This lamp
creates a pleasant indirect light with its white lacquered reflector.

Eine auf die Grundformen reduzierte Tischleuchte aus dem Formenrepertoire
der De-Stijl-Bewegung. Das Leuchtenmodell wurde bereits im Jahre 1928
von einem unbekannten Künstler entworfen. Sie ist für Klaviere prädestiniert,
eignet sich allerdings auch wunderbar als Bibliothekslicht.
A table lamp from the De Stijl movement’s repertoire of shapes, reduced to
its basic shapes. The lamp model was designed by an unknown artist in
1928. It is predestined for pianos, but is also wonderfully suitable as a library
light.
