Everyone while looking at a model or diorama dreams, maybe it's the small scale, the summary of details or feeling like a "giant", like a child in front of toys.
When I designed Palafitt I "played" imagining that a piece of furniture could arouse that feeling but at the same time have a strong sculptural and elegant connotation.
The irony of the little magnetic birds, which Stefano added, gives a touch of magic. How can you not daydream every time you open a door?
