From the selection of the wood, through every stage of the work process, including coating…our production process is envi-
ronmentally sustainable from start to finish, right down to the elimination of all waste material since the shavings generated
as we shape the spruce is highly prized by horse owners and bird farms for use as litter. So not only are we making sure that
people working in our company have to deal only with entirely natural materials, we even make sure that people living in
the surrounding area don’t have to breathe in harmful gases given off by combustion. From the raw material through to the
finished product, our undivided focus is on protecting our workers and our customers who, in choosing this furniture, can be

Wind, earth, slope, sun, water…it takes a calibrated blend of these elements to produce areas that are particularly well
suited to growing European spruce. And the selection of managed reforestation areas from which to source wood is where our
job of caring for the product, environment and people begins… our wood culture has led us to favour areas around Salzburg
and in Scandinavian countries: hence the solid spruce we use for our furniture is a totally “healthy” wood, completely free of
harmful emissions, 100% natural, without any processing interfering with its structure and entirely environmentally friendly
quality.

Our furniture factory is the real deal, a place where you can smell the scent of wood and undergrowth, home to each stage
of the production process: from drying in a large oven to evaporate the moisture and stabilize the wood, to sandpapering
and gluing together the planks; from the painstaking search and manual removal of small pockets of resin, to cutting out
cornices and decorations. One particularly important stage in the process to ensure that the product’s natural and ecological
credentials remain intact is coating: we use only water-based paints and varnishes, entirely free of toxins - the same coatings
used to finish children’s toys (European standard EN 71-3). In point of fact, our staff don’t even wear masks of any kind…
