The VEGAN table is an extraordinary synthesis of concept and matter. Michele De Lucchi conceived this table drawing inspiration from “a fishbone, a branch twisting around the tree trunk, a bone or an organic form”. Bearing this in mind, he sketched the four solid walnut wood legs that were produced by Riva 1920 making use of an old craft procedure no longer in use, faithfully obtaining the shape outlined by his pencil. Also the table top, made of solid wood and oil finish, features a tapered line, as if it had been filed down or worn away. The four legs, each realized out of a single piece of wood, visibly crossover the table top. The table is available in different wood types: walnut (as in the photo), maple, oak or cherry. Standard sizes (as shown on the pricelist): from 180 cm to 260 cm, diameter from 100 cm to 140 cm.
