The top is in ancient New Zealand Kauri wood, contrasting with its simple, rectangular base. Ancient nature and modern design meet and fuse to create a table which unites a prehistoric wood of about 48,000 years ago with the contemporary look of a base in natural iron, showing its welded joins. The Kauri wood has been further enhanced by the insertion of a transparent resin, poured in and polished by hand. This is a piece of great versatility, adaptable to the customer’s needs. Kauri wood tables are unique and customers can choose exactly which table they want and how to personalize it, with or without resin, in combination with one of the beautiful bases shown in the catalogue.
