The basic idea of the design is to re-present an object in common use in a different guise, decontextualising it, changing its use, altering its dimensions, creating a "giant form" that marries functionality with a strong visual impact.
Devised by a lover of drawing, eager to pay homage to the humble pencil sharpener by taking its dimensions to extremes.
The form of "Temperino" (pencil sharpener), is basic and at the same time harmonious, functioning naturally as a comfortable seat and a small table.
They are products made of solid wood and are completely natural and hand-finished, without other treatments; further movements, cracks or changing of the wood are unique characteristics of the furniture and are due to the natural settlement and to the different environmental condition.
