BOOK
Thanks to its geometrically clean design, Book, a
projector for outdoor and indoor applications, provides
effective or discreet lighting for architectural
constructions, facades, urban spaces or areas.
This typically wall-mounted luminaire is characterized
by compact shape, essential and minimalist design that
is minimally obtrusive and adapts to any architectural
context with its unobtrusive presence, because
emphasis is here placed on lighting functionality, rather
than decoration or formal plays.
Technical specifications
With its compact structure, made of resistant and high-
quality materials, the luminaire has an IP 65 protection
class and can be installed in any kind of indoor or
outdoor environment. The projector housing is entirely
made of die-cast aluminium, with perimeter louvers of
tempered glass and gaskets of silicone material, which
make it absolutely impervious both to liquids and solids.
The luminaire mounting is particularly attractive due to
its ease of installation. First of all the base
(accommodating the power supply unit) is fixed, then
the outer cover is applied and fixed by means of two
totally recessed side screws. The luminaire flexibility of
use is expanded by the possibility of creating pole-
mounted variants. Made of coated extruded aluminium,
these poles are available in three different heights, 50
mm, 225 mm and 450 mm, with in-ground recessed
plate fixing.
Both the luminaire and the poles, with UV-stabilized
epoxy polyester coat finish, are available in three
colours: grey, anthracite grey and white.

Optical components and light sources
The luminaires of the Book series use two different
types of lamps, mainly depending on their specific
application.
20 W metal-halide lamps with PGJ5 fitting and W 18
compact fluorescent lamps with 2G10 fitting.
The special optical components provide soft and diffuse,
asymmetrical, and light-blade light beams.
