Optical components and light sources
Quadro 42 has faceted vacuum metalised polycarbonate
optical components (VO-UL-94, incandescent wire test
at 960° - GWT), with anti-scratch treatment. Compact
fluorescent lamps (2 x 13W G24q-1, 18W G24q-2 and
26W G24q-3).

Quadro 26, unlike other recessed luminaires, features a
square reflector and profile. Distribution control is
optimised by the high specularity optical component
Smaller than type 42, the side of Quadro 26 recessed
luminaire is 212 mm long. Unlike standard recessed
luminaires, this lighting system has a square profile and
reflector: the new faceted optical components with high
specularity allow to control light distribution and
luminance and to provide higher quality of light. This
luminaire best suits public, working, commercial and
exhibition areas where the lamps used – in this case
compact fluorescent 13, 18 and 26 W lamps – are long-
lasting and reduce power consumption cost.
Flexibility is enhanced by the available accessories:
white or coloured satinated decoration rings, glass or
opal polycarbonate diffusers, and anti-glare shields
which ensure excellent shielding of light sources to
avoid annoying glare problems.
Technical specifications
Quadro 26 is characterised by a self-extinguishing
thermoplastic frame, complete with a vacuum
metalised polycarbonate reflector with anti-scratch
treatment.
Installation is easy and does not require any tools: the
recessed luminaire is locked by springs to false-ceilings
with different depth.
Moreover, the locking system attaching the luminaire
and ballast provides easy and safe electrical connection.
Quadro 26 is available with electromechanical,
PF-corrected, electronical and emergency electronical
ballasts.
