Macroquadro adjustable recessed luminaire for very low
voltage halogen lamps consists of a UV-stabilised epoxy
polyester steel sheet structure.
The outer frame is in steel sheet. The optical assemblies
are fixed to die-cast aluminium rings and can be
adjusted 60°(30°+30°) vertically. All maintenance
operations inside the recessed housing are streamlined:
light sources can be fixed quickly through the circular
metal supporting springs which can be detached
without using any tools. The luminaire does not include
a ballast. The Macroquadro family of recessed
luminaires is mainly used in low false-ceilings thanks to
its discretion and unobtrusiveness.
Its essential design develops in multiple configurations
including one to four very low voltage halogen lamps in
a line or group.
All optical assemblies can adjusted about 60° vertically.
Almost all types can be equipped with a sand-blasted
tempered glass louver. Two finishing colours are
available: white or grey.
Macroquadro is the major solution of the recessed
luminaire family which also includes Miniquadro e
Minimicro series with smaller dimensions. The three
solutions are characterised by the geometrical and
clean design of the luminaires as well as by their high
visual comfort. The special position of the optical
assemblies in the recessed luminaire housing – i.e.
further back than standard recessed luminaires – allows
to completely shield the optical components, thus
eliminating annoying glare.
