A lighting solution that is perfectly integrated with the
environmental architectural context, as if it were part of
the ceiling. It may even take the colour of the ceiling,
like a natural light source.
Entirely made of plaster, this luminaire has been
designed for installation in false ceilings made of panels
with fixed thickness of 12 millimetres.
The upper part of the luminaire is completed by a die-
cast aluminium ring in which light sources are placed
and fasted by means of a round spring.
The essential and simple line of this particular recessed
luminaire allows the realization of balanced and
harmonious solutions, that make the environment
organic and smooth, with no visible technology and yet
lit and usable. The line comprises solutions with round
and square schape, available in two different
dimensions (the largest modules are 220 x 220, the
smallest 160 x 160) and is completed by a luminaire
with round tilted schape.
Light sources
The light sources adopted by Gesso may be of three
types: 20.35 and 70 Watt discharge lamps (MR CDM-R
GX10, lamp holder, MR CDM-R111, GX8.5 lamp holder);
very low voltage halogen lamps (HRGI, GU53 lamp
holder, HMG Halospot 111, G53 lamp holder) and 50 Watt
mains voltage halogen lamps (HSGI, GZ10 lamp holder).
