ELEMENTS TO CONSIDER
IN A NEW (OR EXISTING) LIGHTING PROJECT
IP protective degree (IEC 529 & EN 60529 norms)
WARNING. Unless otherwise specified articles in this catalogue
are not for permanent and continous immersion in water.
Some fittings, although classified and tested IP 68 cannot be
installed permanently in water according to international norms
IEC364-7-702 (max 12 V A.C. or 30 V D.C. in water).
They can only withstand (resist) accidental immersion of 1,3 m
depth due to temporary flooding.
WARNING: in all ground lighting fittings installation, at least a
20 cm depth drain hole filled by gravel must be made to prevent
flooding. Use h07rn-f cables only. Other kind of cables may not
be conformed to assure the lP 67 or IP 68 rating.

WARNING!
Some chemical substancies, liquids or vapour, may cause
corrosion/damages on metal parts of the fittings.
Verify the presence of these substancies when installing
the products and the compatibility with such substancies.
Stainless steel surfaces could be damaged by:
Sodium Hydroxide (soda), liquid Chlorine or vapour,
Hydrochloric acid, Nitric acid (20%), Sulphuric acid (30%).
Die-cast Aluminium could be damaged by: Arsenic Acid (20%),
Acetic acid, Hydrochloric acid, Formic acid, Nitric acid (20%),
Sulphuric acid (30%), Quicklime, Sodium Hydroxide (soda).
Suggestion: very important is to regularly clean the fitting
surfaces. At least once a year or during bulb replacement.
Cleaning could be made with diluted soap or detergent.
In any case do not use Solvent or Ethylene base products.
