Porada, Italian leader in the production of furniture made of solid wood, was established in 1968 by Luigi Allievi who founded the company together with four of his sons. Allievi wanted to expand his production of chairs which had been established back then in 1948. True to the motto "Wood is our passion", the family business combines technological processes with the artisan tradition of the Lombardian area. This results in high quality products sold throughout the whole world.
The Porada products are the result of the proper combining of technological processes with the artisan tradition of this area and the designs are complying with ergonomic, environmental and sustainable design characteristics.
Excellent quality and considerable experience in the wood manufacturing shortly gave Porada a solid and well-defined identity, which nowadays express itself in refined products that contribute to design a domestic environment, where the everyday living needs are met.
Porada’s collection is wide and varied, made up of a multitude of occasional furniture developed in cooperation with designers as Tarcisio Colzani, Marconato & Zappa, Opera Design, Giovanna Azzarello, Marelli&Molteni, Giuseppe Viganò, Gino Carollo and Stefano Bigi among others.
