design Jean-Marie Massaud, gioca sulla
trasparenza e la leggerezza dei pannelli
in tessuto tecnico semi-trasparente,
che scorrono sugli invisibili binari
orizzontali, creando delle sequenze
sempre diverse.
In Lloyd Tex la tecnologia più evoluta
incontra i materiali della tradizione,
come il legno e il cuoio, in un delicato
equilibrio tra anime materiche diff erenti.
E si rende ancora più evidente il gioco
di pieni e vuoti, che lascia intravedere
il contenuto della libreria freestanding,
senza svelarlo del tutto.
Inspired by the world of hi-fi
loudspeakers, the Lloyd Tex self-
supporting bookcase, designed
by Jean-Marie Massaud, plays on
the transparency and lightness of
the Techno-fabric panels, a semi-
transparent technical fabric in Light
and Dark colours. The panels slide on
invisible horizontal tracks, creating
ever-changing sequences.
In Lloyd Tex, the most advanced
technology comes together with
traditional materials such as wood, in
a delicate balance between diff erent
spirits of material. And the interplay
of solids and voids becomes even more
evident, allowing a glimpse of the
content of the freestanding bookcase,
without completely revealing it.
Inspiriert von der Welt der Hi-Fi-
Lautsprecher, besticht das von
Jean-Marie Massaud entworfene
freistehende Bücherregal Lloyd Tex
durch die Transparenz und Leichtigkeit
von Paneelen aus Techno-Gewebe, einem
halbtransparenten technischen Stoff in
den Farben Light und Dark. Die Paneele
laufen auf unsichtbaren horizontalen
Schienen und erzeugen so ständig
wechselnde Sequenzen.
Bei Lloyd Tex triff t modernste
Technologie auf traditionelle Materialien
wie Holz, in einem ausgewogenen
Verhältnis zwischen verschiedenen
stoffl ichen Eigenschaften. Und das
Zusammenspiel von vollen und leeren
Räumen wird noch deutlicher, da
es einen Blick auf den Inhalt des
freistehenden Bücherregals erlaubt,
ohne es vollständig zu enthüllen.

hi-fi , la bibliothèque autoportante Lloyd
Tex, conçue par Jean-Marie Massaud,
joue sur la transparence et la légèreté
des panneaux en Techno-fabric, un tissu
technique semi-transparent décliné dans
les couleurs Light et Dark. Les panneaux
glissent sur des rails horizontaux
invisibles, créant ainsi des séquences
toujours diff érentes.
Pour Lloyd Tex, la technologie la plus
avancée rencontre des matériaux
traditionnels tels que le bois, dans
un équilibre délicat entre des âmes
matérielles diff érentes. Et le jeu des
pleins et des vides est encore plus
évident, laissant entrevoir le contenu
de la bibliothèque autoportante, sans le
dévoiler complètement.
