Per noi di Patrizia Volpato il vetro
è la forma della luce.
Nei laboratori dei nostri Maestri vetrai a Venezia,
si riesce a dare forma alla cosa più immateriale e
difficile da plasmare: la luce. Ogni singolo pezzo
è frutto di un gesto mai scontato, di un dialogo
tra noi e i maestri vetrai la cui esperienza è parte
del nostro patrimonio culturale.
Ci piace pensare che ogni sera all’imbrunire
migliaia delle nostre creazioni si accendono
in ogni parte del mondo.
Ovunque si trovi, un nostro lampadario
parla di noi e dei luoghi in cui è stato realizzato,
trattenendo un po’ di quella magia che rende
unica Venezia e la sua laguna.

is the shape of light.
In the workshops of our Master glassmakers in
Venice, we manage to give shape to the most
immaterial and difficult thing to forge: light. Every
single piece is the result of a gesture that is never
taken for granted, of a dialogue between us and
the master glassmakers whose experience is part
of our cultural heritage.
We like to think that every evening at dusk
thousands of our creations are lit
in every part of the world.
Wherever they are located, our chandeliers
speak of us and of the places where they were
made, retaining a bit of that magic that makes
Venice and its lagoon unique.
