Pebble Rubble trova ispirazione da una
meticolosa indagine naturalistica delle forme
presenti in natura. Rocce, muschio, alberi caduti
e specchi d’acqua diventano, nell’immaginario
delle designer, luoghi in cui riposarsi e rilassarsi.
Scansionate in 3D, queste forme organiche si
trasformano in oggetti d’arredo che esprimono,
innanzitutto, un’esperienza sensoriale.
Una piacevole illusione che attrae e incuriosisce
alterando la nostra percezione del tempo: veloce
e frenetico quello della quotidianità, lento
e imperscrutabile quello della natura.
Pebble Rubble finds inspiration from
a meticulous naturalistic investigation of forms
found in nature. Rocks, moss, fallen trees and
bodies of water become, in the designers’
imagination, places to rest and relax. Scanned in
3D, these organic forms are transformed into
furniture objects that express, first and foremost,
a sensory experience. A pleasant illusion that
attracts and intrigues by altering our perception
of time: fast and frenetic that of everyday life,
slow and inscrutable that of nature.
