Disegnato da Patricia Urquiola nel
2006, è un sistema caratterizzato da
un linguaggio formale affine a un gusto
semplice ed essenziale. Molto elegante
e minimale con lo schienale abbassato;
di grande comfort quando lo schienale,
dotato di meccanismo d’inclinazione,
si alza. Il nome richiama i bastoncini di
legno colorato del famoso gioco,
trasposti nel progetto nei tubi di acciaio
verniciato dei piedi del divano e delle
gambe dei tavolini. La comodità è
un elemento intrinseco, enfatizzata dalla
presenza di cuscini in piuma d’oca.
Designed by Patricia Urquiola in
2006, this system is characterised
by a formal language representing simple
and essential taste. Elegant and minimal
with the backrest lowered, it offers great
comfort when the backrest, which has
a tilting mechanism, is raised. The name
recalls the coloured wooden sticks
of the famous game, symbolised here in
the painted steel tubes of the sofa’s feet
and the coffee table’s legs. Comfort is
an intrinsic feature, represented by the
presence of goose down pillows.
