Da oltre vent’anni è una delle figure più
importanti nel mondo del design contemporaneo
e icona della progettazione femminile.
Dopo la laurea nel 1989 al Politecnico di Milano
con Achille Castiglioni, incontra diverse personalità
di spicco che contribuiscono a delineare il suo
percorso: Achille Castiglioni, di cui diventa
assistente nel corso di disegno industriale, Vico
Magistretti, con cui collabora all’interno dell’ufficio
sviluppo prodotto di De Padova, Piero Lissoni ed
infine Patrizia Moroso. Nel 2001 apre il proprio
studio, occupandosi di progetti d’architettura, di
allestimento d’interni e di sviluppo di complementi
d’arredo. Molti sui prodotti sono presenti nelle
collezioni del MoMA di New York, del Musée des
Arts decoratifs di Parigi, del Vitra Design Museum,
del Victorian & Albert Museum di Londra e del
Museo della Triennale di Milano.
For over twenty years, one of the leading
figures of the contemporary design scene and
an icon of women’s design. After graduating
under the mentorship of Achille Castiglioni at the
Politecnico di Milano in 1989, she met a number
of key figures who were to define her career:
Achille Castiglioni, who she later assisted in his
industrial design course, Vico Magistretti, with
whom she worked in the De Padova product
development department, Piero Lissoni, and
Patrizia Moroso. In 2001 she opened her own
studio, dealing with projects of architecture,
interior design, and the development of furniture.
Many of her products are present in the collections
of the MoMA in New York, the Musée des
Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Vitra Design Museum,
the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and
the Triennale Museum in Milan.

His work is characterised by exceptional

level of expression. The visionary approach
of his work transcends mere aesthetic boundaries
to enter an experiential dimension, resulting in
a sensory immersion in the design.
The Amsterdam-based studio specialises in the
development and creation of furniture and interior
designs for the contract, residential and office
space markets.
