Torpe, le sedie Precious sono state
disegnate cercando di assottigliare le
sezioni al limite del possibile, quasi
a sfidare le leggi di tenuta strutturale.
L’estetica minimale non va a discapito
della solidità, qualità che rende Precious
adatta anche ad un uso intensivo non
residenziale. Binomio esemplare tra
pulizia della forma e funzionalità,
la sedia è arricchita da raffinati dettagli
costruttivi: le gambe, estremamente
sottili, il vassoietto della seduta in
acciaio verniciato o cromato completato
da un’elegante selezione tessile.
Designed by Johannes Torpe in
2019, the Precious chair design is an
attempt to slim down the cross-section
to the lowest limit possible, almost
seeking to defy the laws of physics.
The product’s minimalist shape
nevertheless is combined with solidity,
making it suitable for heavy-duty use,
such as in the contract industry.
A perfect combination, therefore, and
not a contraposition between crisp,
clear-cut shapes and solidity, the
Precious collection offers a rich and
refined variety of finishing touches.
The legs of the chairs are extremely
slender and the chrome-plated or
painted steel plate forming the base
of the seat are rounded off with an
elegant selection of fabrics.
