nel 2015, Pipe è una famiglia di
prodotti che antepone alla più comune
ricerca sulla forma sottile una scelta
in controtendenza: l’oversize. E,
nonostante questo, riesce a mantenersi
leggera. Il progetto si articola così
attorno all’aspetto più rassicurante che
una forma voluminosa è in grado di
esprimere: la semplicità. La struttura,
essenziale e robusta, è costruita con un
tubo in acciaio verniciato a polvere dal
diametro di 80mm, il cuscino di seduta
ricorda l’idea del modulo gonfiabile
mentre lo schienale, come una parentesi
evidenziata in “grassetto”, promette
comodità e simpatia.

in 2015, Pipe is a line of products that
swims against the currents of the
common research into the slim form
and toward the countertrend: the
oversized. Despite this, it remains light,
ethereal. The design is thus structured
around the most reassuring aspect
of a voluminous form: simplicity.
The minimalist and rugged structure is
built with a powder-painted aluminium
tube with a diameter of 80 mm. Resting
on it is a seat cushion that recalls the
idea of the inflatable module. The back,
like a bold parenthesis, promises comfort
and sympathy.
