Loveseat, poltrona disegnata da
Patricia Urquiola nel 2023, è l’evoluzione
del sistema di sedute Lowseat,
progettato dalla designer per Moroso
nel 2000. La nuova versione si concentra
sulla poltrona, conferendole maggior
forza e intensità. Le basi in tubolare
di acciaio lasciano il posto a delle
gambe in legno massello posizionate
esternamente al volume di seduta; una
soluzione strutturale che conferisce
a Loveseat una personalità decisa
e contemporanea, accentuando
il carattere indipendente della seduta
singola senza rinunciare alla possibilità
di unire più poltrone in configurazioni
multiple adatte a spazi pubblici
e collettivi.
Loveseat, an armchair designed by
Patricia Urquiola in 2023, is the evolution
of the Lowseat system by the same
designer in 2000. The revival focuses
on the armchair, giving it an enhanced
dominance and intensity. The tubular
steel runners give space for legs of ash
that are placed outside the mass of the
sofa, providing a structural solution that
gives Loveseat a strong, contemporary
character. Bold and independent, it’s the
perfect stand-alone piece, but can also
be grouped with other chairs for use in
public or community spaces.
