Il titolo del progetto fa riferimento a Della se-
duzione di Jean Baudrillard nel quale prende
in considerazione diverse forme di seduzione.
[…] Una particolare attenzione è dedicata
alla ‘seduzione superficiale’, alle pratiche del-
l’illusione ottica, all’inganno retinico nelle arti.
La mia ipotesi di allestimento prende spunto
da questi assunti: dei video, retroproiettati su
strutture di plexiglass ultraleggero a sospen-
sione, oppure su schermi a cristalli liquidi fra-
meless distribuiti nello spazio dello showroom.
Il contenuto dei video afferirà ai codici del ci-
nema sperimentale strutturale (Hollis Fram-
pton, Stan Brakhage...). I materiali utilizzati
dall’azienda verranno reinterpretati in base a
valori solo ed esclusivamente estetici: colore,
opacità, indice di riflettanza, morbidezza e re-
sistenza, per esempio. le materie e le forme
verranno filmate e andranno a costituire la
trama e l’ordito di film antinarrativi, partiture
cromatiche e luministiche in movimento.
The project title refers to Della seduzione by
Jean Baudrillard, which examines various
forms of seduction. [...] Particular attention
is paid to superficial seduction, to the practice
of optical illusion, and retinal deception in
art. My proposed construction is inspired by
these components: videos, back-projected on
suspended ultra-lightweight Plexiglass struc-
tures, or on frameless LCD screens distributed
in the space of the showroom. The video con-
tent will affirm the language of experimental
structural films (Hollis Frampton, Stan Bra-
khage ...). The materials used by the company
will be reinterpreted based on only aesthetic
values: color, opacity, reflectance index, soft-
ness, and strength, for example. The materials
and the forms will be filmed and will constitute
the weft and warp of an anti-narrative film, a
chromatic and luminous score in motion.
