I divani e le poltrone del progetto Air Lounge System
sono realizzati per formatura di poliuretano flessibile
espanso a freddo in appositi stampi. L’imbottitura
ingloba totalmente la struttura portante , costruita
con profilati d’acciaio elettrosaldati, i molleggi del se-
dile sono realizzati con cinghie elastiche tensionate
alla struttura base. La caratteristica forma di questo
modello concepito come un anello, rende particolar-
mente difficile il confezionamento o la calzatura dei
rivestimenti, tanto da mettere in evidenza anche ai
non esperti, la speciale abilità e cura della sua realiz-
zazione. I rivestimenti sono realizzabili sia in pelle che
in tessuto, con possibilità di diversi accostamenti sia
per i colori che per i materiali.
The sofas and armchairs of the Air Lounge System
collection are made of moulded cold –cure flexible
polyurethane foam. The padding completely incor-
porates the supporting structure, which is made of
electro-welded steel plate; the suspension in the
seating consists of elastic straps fixed to the basic
structure. The unusual ring shape of this model ma-
kes the sewing and fitting of the upholstery particu-
larly difficult – so much so that the skill with which it
has been accomplished is clearly evident even to non
– expert eyes. The elements of this series may be
upholstered either in leather or fabric, with the pos-
sibility of combining different colors and materials.
