when Ward Mertens founded Lucide in 1992.
He had a clear vision: to make unique and
high-quality lighting products available to
everybody.
Over the past 30 years the company kept
growing, transitioning from a modest family
company to an important international player
in the lighting industry.
With an evolving market, transition to
digitalization and an increasing demand for
sustainability, the second generation, Wim
and Niek, stepped up to help and to assure a
successful future of Lucide.
