Lapalma
It is our roots that push us
into the future.
The Lapalma story begins in Cadoneghe (PD). In a land,
the Veneto region, devoted to hard work and corporate
responsibility. Here, in a garage not far from home, Dario
and Romano Marcato begin making their furniture in the
early 1980s. Everything is done by hand, it takes hours.
Our prototypes are presented at a few trade fairs, they are
appreciated and orders flow in, production gradually expands
and becomes industrial. The two brothers continue to work
but look ahead. They love technology, innovate and invest,
yet always with the ability to adapt cutting-edge machinery to
their specific needs. If a machine cannot perform a particular
step in the machining process, they adapt it until they can
make it do what they have in mind. And the company grows
over time to become an international player, exporting to 81
countries worldwide.
La storia di Lapalma comincia a Cadoneghe (PD). In una terra, il Veneto,
vocata al lavoro duro e alla responsabilità d’impresa. Qui, in un garage
poco lontano da casa, nei primi anni ’80 Dario e Romano Marcato
cominciano a realizzare i loro mobili. Tutto a mano, ci vogliono ore. Li
presentano a qualche fiera, i prototipi piacciono, fioccano le ordinazioni,
la produzione via via si allarga e diventa industriale. I due fratelli
lavorano e lavorano ma guardano avanti, amano la tecnologia, innovano,
investono, ma sempre con la capacità di adattare la meccanica
d’avanguardia alle loro esigenze specifiche. Se una macchina non può
realizzare un determinato passaggio della lavorazione, la modificano
finché non riescono a farle fare quello che hanno in mente. E l’azienda
cresce nel tempo fino a diventare una realtà internazionale che esporta
in 81 paesi del mondo.
