IT — Tintas (in spagnolo “inchiostri”) è un tappeto
annodato a mano utilizzando la tecnica Soumak.
Il design presenta una composizione equilibrata
di forme geometriche create attraverso linee colorate
che si sovrappongono, emergono e scompaiono,
come tratti spontanei disegnati a mano su un pezzo
di carta. Tintas celebra la bellezza nascosta nei
dettagli di semplici atti. I filati di lana tinti in colori
vivaci e dettagli di toni più scuri sono combinati
e mescolati insieme a seguito del ritmo di una griglia
progettata minuziosamente su ogni nodo del tappeto.
EN — Tintas (the Spanish word for “inks”) is hand
knotted carpet using the Soumak technique.
The design features a balanced composition
of geometric shapes created through colourful lines
that overlap, emerge and disappear, like spontaneous
hand drawn strokes on a piece of paper. Tintas
celebrates the beauty hidden in details of simple
acts. Wool yarns dyed in bright colours and details
of darker tones are combined and blended together
following the rhythm of a grid that has been
meticulously designed on each knot of the rug.
