IT — Il tappeto Torrente nasce dalla sperimentazione
della stampa su tappeto. L’acqua diventa colore
per segnare il suo passaggio sulla materia tessile.
La tecnica della stampa permette di trasmettere
la sensazione del passaggio rapido e stratificato
di un corso d’acqua. Il torrente, con il suo fluire
costante e impetuoso, accompagna lo scorrere
del tempo, e invita alla contemplazione. L’acqua
percorre una strada già tracciata perché impressa
nella terra da infiniti passaggi che si rinnovano con
regolarità. Ma allo stesso tempo è sempre presente
una grande componente di indeterminatezza,
di casualità e di imprevedibilità.
EN — The rug Torrente originates from the
experimentation of printing on rugs. Water changes
into color to mark its way on the textile matter.
The printing technique emphasizes the feeling of the
fast, layered water flow. The torrent, its constant,
impetuous flow follows the passage of time and
invites to contemplate. The water flows through
a path that has already been traced and impressed
on the soil an infinity of times, and that keeps
changing over time. But at the same time, in this
long journey though a path that keeps changing,
there’ll always be room for uncertainty, luck and
unpredictability.
