The Pianist coffee table doesn’t represent the
piano but the hands of the artist, vehicle of
technique and emotion.
The brass blades design the shape of the
four longest fingers that, on a white marble
keyboard, release a melody hidden within the
musical notes. The minimal approach creates
contrast between the architectural lines and
the exquisite noble materials.
The marble table with brass blades was inspired
by a drawing of Paul Klee, in which the Swiss
painter portrays the soul of a musician and
presents only the piano’s black keys, leaving
the white keys on invisibility.
