C R A F T S M A N S H I P
Created by architect Joana Santos Barbosa in 2012, InsidherLand is a Portuguese
brand of author design inspired by the natural wonders and artistic influences.
Drawn with Joana’s signature and handcrafted by her team of Portuguese master
craftsmen, the impressive contemporary furniture, lighting, upholstery and
accessories have been highlighted as soulful designs that embody the expertise of
traditional craft techniques with high quality materials and finishes.
Joana soon saw her talent recognized, being considered one of the Top 10
Contemporary Designers from Portugal. Earning her place in the international
design scene, she was invited to exhibit at the XX Triennale International Exhibition
in Milan and her work can be seen in the most prestigious design events.
InsidherLand has a vast team of experienced and talented artisans who produce
the collections in the north of Portugal. With a rich traditional heritage in different
areas among wood, marble, glass and upholstery, the attention dedicated to details
turns them into central points of the manual production.
