Memories è una collezione disegnata per Golran
dall’artista e designer fiorentina Isabella Sodi che
trasferisce il suo prezioso bagaglio estetico-culturale
a cavallo tra interior design e alta moda, attraverso una
sua personale interpretazione del tappeto. La collezione
è costituita da pezzi dal forte impatto emotivo, sospesi
fra passato e futuro. Un vero e proprio omaggio alla
tradizione e alle tecniche di realizzazione originali
che prevedono l’utilizzo di vecchi telai e tinture a mano
dei filati più nobili, con effetti unici e ogni volta diversi.
Memories is a collection designed for Golran by
the Florentine artist and designer Isabella Sodi, who
conveys her exquisite corpus of esthetic and cultural
knowledge, drawn from the fields of interior design
and high fashion, through her own highly personal
interpretation of the art of the carpet. The collection
consists of articles that bring a powerful emotional
impact, hovering somewhere between the past and
the future. A full-fledged tribute to the original traditions
and craft techniques which call for the use of old looms
and hand dyeing of the noblest yarns and threads
found, with unique effects, different in every carpet.
