Luca Nichetto nasce a Venezia nel 1976, dove studia all’Istituto d’Arte e dove, successivamente, consegue la Laurea in Disegno Industriale presso lo IUAV, Istituto Universitario di Architettura
di Venezia. Nel 1999 comincia l’attività professionale disegnando i suoi primi prodotti in vetro di Murano per Salviati. Nello stesso anno prende il via il sodalizio con Foscarini per la quale,
oltre a firmare alcuni progetti, assume il ruolo di consulente per la ricerca di nuovi materiali e sviluppo prodotto (2001-2003). Nel 2006 fonda a Porto Marghera, vicino a Venezia, lo studio
Nichetto&Partners, che si occupa di Industrial Design e Design Consultant e nel 2011 decide di avviare una nuova attività professionale a Stoccolma, in Svezia.
Luca Nichetto nel corso della sua carriera ha ricevuto importanti riconoscimenti a livello internazionale, tra cui il Gran Design Award 2008, il Good Design Award del Chicago Atheneum
Museum of Architecture 2008, l’IF Product Design Award 2008 e l’Elle Decoration International Design Awards 2009 (EDIDA) come Designer dell’Anno nella categoria Young Designer Talent.
Ha tenuto numerose lecture e workshop in diverse università sia in Italia che all’estero ed è stato docente presso lo Iuav di Venezia, Facoltà di Design e Arti.
Oltre ad aver partecipato a mostre in Europa, Stati Uniti e Giappone, Luca Nichetto è stato protagonista di importanti retrospettive che hanno toccato alcune delle maggiori città europee
tra cui Venezia, Londra, Parigi e Stoccolma e ha firmato, in qualità di art director, molteplici eventi di respiro internazionale.
E’ stato inoltre invitato a prendere parte a prestigiose giurie in occasione di concorsi sia in Italia che all’estero.
Luca Nichetto was born in 1976 in Venice, where he studied at the Art Institute. Afterwards he attended the University Institute of Architecture of Venice (IUAV), where he earned a degree in
Industrial Design. He began his professional career in 1999 by designing his first projects in Murano glass for Salviati. That same year he began his collaboration with Foscarini, for whom he
not only designed products, but also worked as a consultant on new materials research and product development (2001–2003). In 2006 he launched his own design firm, Nichetto&Partners,
which specializes in industrial design and offers its services as a design consultancy. In 2011 he also opened another professional office in Stockholm, Sweden.
Over the course of his career, Nichetto has been awarded a number of international prizes, including the Gran Design Award (2008), the Chicago Atheneum Museum of Architecture’s Good
Design Award (2008), the IF Product Design Award (2008) and the Elle Decoration International Design Awards’ (EDIDA) Designer of the Year award in the Young Designer Talent category
(2009). He has lectured and led workshops at various universities, including serving as a professor of design at the Università Iuav di Venezia.
Apart from participating in various design exhibitions in Europe, the U.S and Japan, Nichetto has also been the subject of important retrospective shows in prominent European cities,
including Venice, London, Paris and Stockholm, and he has served as art director for a number of international design events. In addition, he has been invited to sit on prestigious juries for
a variety of design competitions held both in Italy and abroad.
Luca Nichetto est né à Venise en 1976, où il a étudié à l’Institut d’art et où, par la suite, il a obtenu un diplôme en design industriel à l’IUAV, l’Institut universitaire d’architecture de Venise.
En 1999, il a commencé son activité professionnelle en concevant ses premiers produits en verre de Murano pour Salviati. La même année, il a entamé un partenariat avec Foscarini pour
lequel, outre la signature de certains projets, il a assumé le rôle de consultant pour la recherche de nouveaux matériaux et le développement de produits (2001-2003). En 2006, il a fondé à
Porto Marghera, près de Venise, le studio Nichetto&Partners, qui s’occupe de design industriel et de conseil en design. En 2011, il a décidé de démarrer une nouvelle activité professionnelle
à Stockholm, en Suède.
Luca Nichetto a reçu d’importants prix internationaux au cours de sa carrière, notamment le Gran Design Award 2008, le Good Design Award du Chicago Atheneum Museum of Architecture
2008, le IF Product Design Award 2008 et le Elle Decoration International Design Awards 2009 (EDIDA) en tant que designer de l’année dans la catégorie des jeunes talents.
Il a tenu de nombreuses conférences et ateliers dans diverses universités en Italie et à l’étranger et a enseigné à l’Iuav de Venise, à la faculté de design et des arts.
En plus de participer à des expositions en Europe, aux États-Unis et au Japon, Luca Nichetto a été le protagoniste d’importantes rétrospectives qui ont touché certaines des plus grandes
villes européennes, dont Venise, Londres, Paris et Stockholm, et a signé, en tant que directeur artistique, plusieurs événements de portée internationale.
Il a également été invité à participer à des jurys prestigieux lors de concours en Italie et à l’étranger.

Giorgio Topan nasce a Padova nel 1958 e si laurea in Architettura nel 1982 allo IUAV di Venezia. Dopo aver lavorato alla Zanussi/Electrolux di Porcia (PN) dal 1986 al 89, fonda nel 1991 lo
Studio Associato con Gianantonio Perin, collaborando attivamente con numerose aziende del settore dell’office furniture, nazionali ed internazionali, ricevendo numerosi riconoscimenti.
Nel lavoro di progettazione sono attenti alla produzione seriale conciliando valenze estetiche e aspetti funzionali. Hanno disegnato per Frezza le linee direzionali DIGIT, FORMA e ONO, la
reception VOGUE e la collezione direzionale SPIKE. Nel 2015 prosegue l’attività con lo “Studio A, Topan & Partners”, occupandosi di product design nel settore dell’ufficio e della casa, di
illuminazione e di graphic design.

1991 he founded “Studio Associato” together with Gianantonio Perin, collaborating actively with many office furniture firms, both national and international, and receiving numerous prizes.
Whilst designing, Perin and Topan pay attention to uniting mass production with aesthetic values and functional aspects. They have designed for Frezza the DIGIT, FORMA, ONO and SPIKE
executive lines and the VOGUE reception. In 2015 Topan continues his activities with “Studio A, Topan & Partners”, specializing in office and home product design, graphic design and lighting.
