Progetto CMR è una società specializzata nella progettazione integrata, fondata nel 1994 e guidata da Massimo Roj con l’obiettivo di realizzare un’architettura flessibile, efficiente
ed ecosostenibile. Con 12 sedi nel mondo e oltre 150 tra architetti ed ingegneri, Progetto CMR realizza progetti di diversa scala coniugando dimensione sperimentale e competenze
multidisciplinari. Dal 2010 è tra i primi 100 studi di progettazione al mondo segnalati da BD World Architecture Top 100. Giovanni Giacobone, architetto e designer, dal 1999 dirige e coordina
l’Industrial Design Division di Progetto CMR, affiancato da Matteo Colombo, realizzando oggetti per la casa e l’ufficio che integrano design, tecnologia, funzionalità e sostenibilità ambientale.
La qualità del lavoro svolto nel campo del design è stata premiata con diversi riconoscimenti quali Red Dot Award 2016, IF Design Award 2016, LUX Middle East Award 2016, l’ADI Design
Index 2003, 2004, 2006, 2014 il Grandesign 2004, il Good Design 2008 e 2010. Il sistema operativo be.1 disegnato per Frezza, è nato con l’obiettivo di creare un prodotto che rispondesse alle
esigenze del mercato odierno, con un’immagine minimale, ma fortemente connotato e riconoscibile.

coordinates the Industrial Design Division of Progetto CMR since 1999, together with Matteo Colombo, creating home and office products that integrate design, technology, functionality and
environmental sustainability. The quality of the work done in the design field has been honoured with several awards, such as the Red Dot Award 2016, IF Design Award 2016, LUX Middle
East Award 2016, ADI Design Index 2003, 2004, 2006, 2014, Grandesign 2004, the Good Design 2008 and 2010. The be.1 operative system designed for Frezz, was born with the aim to create
a product with a minimalistic but recognizable appearance, able to respond to modern market needs.
