Our creatives
Frits Jeuris
You have thinkers and you have doers. The Belgian
creative artist Frits Jeuris (1975) clearly belongs to
both categories. It can by no means be said that there
is no thinking in Jeuris’ ‘head’. On the contrary, he
thinks while you talk to him.
He sees concepts flying by behind his eyes and with a
few strokes on a blank sheet he draws simple sketches
that immediately make clear what he has in mind. At
that moment, the conceptual thinker with a critical eye
not only has an idea, but also immediately knows how
it can possibly be realized. His knowledge of technol-
ogy and materials is often based on his experience in
making, or rather creating.
Frits Jeuris looks, analyses, thinks and then makes a
statement with a surprisingly pure design.

Eden Design
Being active in the installation market for
more than 35 years, Eden Design has built
up a long history. Gradually turning to
building automation, a significant know-
how has been gathered.
When entering the path of design, this
know-how has played a large role.
Creating innovative products, integrating
technology and design is the main thought
behind the Eden Design lighting.
Bart Lens
Through his architecture and design, Bart Lens
hopes to have an impact on our living environ-
ment. Bart Lens transforms things which already
exist. As a part of the creative process, he ob-
serves how people experience their environment
and how they occupy space. He is drawn ever
closer to the materials, with the traditional ways
of working them becoming ever more important.
With this emphasis, Bart Lens brings sensitivity
and atmosphere to a substantial part of the overall
living environment.

Etre Moderne
Designers Philippe Vermeersch and Caroline
Gielen are specialized in lighting, furniture
and object design. Their style is no-nonsense,
straightforward & unpretentious. At first sight
simple, but sophisticated in detail. Different
materials and techniques are like a red thread
through the designs. They produce local (Bel-
gium), wanting to preserve the work of crafts-
men and to make their talent last.
