Design Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba
Disegnato dallo studio Palomba Serafini nasce Swipe, con la volontà di creare una
collezione che, come evoca lo stesso nome, fosse dominata dal movimento. Un pro-
getto che unisce estrema comodità a un design dalla forte personalità, caratterizza-
to dal contrasto tra le morbide line delle sedute e le geometrie create dalle versatili
corde imbottite. L’utilizzo dell’alluminio per la struttura non impedisce agli elementi
di questa collezione di svilupparsi in totale assenza di rigidità: gli schienali di divani
e poltrone contengono la cuscinatura generosa, aprendosi alle estremità, come ad
accogliervi in un abbraccio, mentre gli elementi dining della collezione sembrano flu-
ttuare in aria grazie al gioco di trasparenze della base a intreccio.
Design by Studio Palomba Serafini is born Swipe, with the desire to create a co-
llection that, as the name suggests, was dominated by movement. A project that
combines extreme comfort with a design with a strong personality, characterized
by the contrast between the soft lines of the seats and the geometries created
by the versatile padded strings. The use of aluminum for the structure does not
prevent the elements of this collection to develop in total absence of rigidity: the
backs of sofas and armchairs contain generous cushions, opening at the ends, as if
to welcome you in an embrace, while the dining elements of the collection seem to
float in the air thanks to the interplay of transparencies of the woven base.
