C’è un istinto che ci guida, da sempre.
È il desiderio profondo di dare forma alle
idee, di trasformare intuizioni in progetti
capaci di abitare la vita contemporanea.
Per noi di Midj, progettare non è solo un
atto creativo: è un modo di vivere, una
tensione continua verso ciò che ancora
non esiste ma che sentiamo necessario.
Anno dopo anno, questa spinta si rinnova
grazie al dialogo costante con i designer
che condividono la nostra visione.
Insieme osserviamo il presente, intercet-
tiamo i cambiamenti, interpretiamo nuovi
bisogni.
Oggi questo istinto alla creazione evolve,
guidato da una consapevolezza sempre
più concreta: progettare significa anche
assumersi la responsabilità del futuro.
Le nuove politiche di sostenibilità, definite
dal Regolamento UE 2024/1781 sull’ecode-
sign (c.d. ESPR, Ecodesign for Sustainable
Products Regulation), rappresentano per
noi una direzione progettuale. Una sfida
che accogliamo con entusiasmo, integran-
do innovazione, ricerca e cultura del saper
fare in ogni scelta.
Tra le nove collezioni che presentiamo
al Salone del Mobile 2026, la sedia Relay
e il divano modulare Yak incarnano in modo
emblematico il nostro impegno: progetti
che uniscono estetica, funzione e atten-
zione all’intero ciclo di vita del prodotto.
There is an instinct that has always guided us. It is the
deep desire to give shape to ideas, to transform intuitions
into projects capable of inhabiting contemporary life. For
us at Midj, design is not merely a creative act: it is a way
of living, a constant drive toward what does not yet exist,
but which we feel is necessary.
Year after year, this impulse is renewed through an
ongoing dialogue with the designers who share our
vision. Together, we observe the present, anticipate
change, and interpret new needs.
Today, this instinct for creation is evolving, guided
by an ever more tangible awareness: to design also
means taking responsibility for the future. The new
sustainability policies set out by European Regulation
(EU) 2024/1781 on ecodesign (the so-called ESPR,
Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation) rep-
resent, for us, a design direction. It is a challenge we
embrace with enthusiasm, integrating innovation, re-
search, and craftsmanship into every choice we make.
Among the nine collections we are presenting at Salone
del Mobile 2026, the Relay chair and the Yak modular
sofa stand as emblematic expressions of our commit-
ment: projects that combine aesthetics, function, and
careful attention to the product’s entire life cycle.
